Another Reason to Hate Fairfield

Just when I thought I'd finally found a decent person living in Fairfield (Ned Lamont), I have to find out about the boneheaded He Man Woman Hater's at the Connecticut Golf Club. See, I had to do a little research on behalf of the CEO today, find a spot for him and the boys on the board to play 18 holes next week. I say boys on the board because a) there are no females on the board; b) according to the CT Golf Club that's a good thing because c) women aren't allowed to play there whenever they want. Seriously. I am not allowed to play golf at the CT Golf Club if it isn't Tuesday or Sunday. Their website says it's a "club for serious golfers, not a country club." What, women can't be serious golfers? Tell that to the LPGA. I mean, I'm all for men having their own space and shit, but this pisses me off because it's old world elitism of the nastiest sort. And what if I was on the board? I still wouldn't be allowed to play. How does that still fly in this day and age???? It makes me sick.

We have become a nation of 300+ million individuals, sub-divided by our anatomical features. All of trying to attain an impossible 'american dream' and hating ourselves for it. So we take out our self-loathing on each other. Unity has become a distance movement, a forgot pursuit if you will, while we teter on the brink of revolution in this country. We have a neanderthal at the helm of the Titanic, encouraging people to stay calm because God will save you when you are dead. What the fuck do I care, when the key word is dead. The time as come for us to throw off 3500 years of placing are faith in a what appears to be a kid with a magnifing glass over an ant hill, and place are faith in the human race. Yes that means girls too. If we had to go to bed each night thinking about our own actions and how they effect each other, instead of praying for forgiveness for all the bad shit we do to each other maybe we wouldn't need to spend 500 billion a year on bombs the size of buses.
PS Kevin told me about your blog, so far I like it.
Peace

Sorry about the typos my mind turns off when I'm thinking if you know what I mean.
